Once upon a time a groom and his family went to bride’s home for the wedding, but until his arrival they were not ready for the wedding. The groom arrival so early. So bride’s family wanted to delay the wedding. Clever her father was a carpenter and he went to his workshop and prepare a game in a wooden box then gave groom to play. Then bribe’s family had more than enough time to get ready for wedding. After that, the game was popular as “Magul Parakkuwa” (in Sinhala terms) and this is a modern version of it and call “Groom's Puzzle”.
