After the first and second rolls you can decide to reserve any number of dice. This is done by pressing on the dice you want to reserve. The reserved die will not be rolled on the next roll, unless it is being doubled (see below), in which case all 5 dice will be rolled. The dice that you have reserved can be removed from the reserve in the same way. In the empty squares, the score that you would get from placing the rally in those squares will appear.
