A new study shows annoying sounds trigger a highly emotional response in the brain. The researchers found that the part of the brain that regulates emotions, the amygdala seems to take on hearing parts of the brain when people hear a very annoying sound. This app includes 40 of the most annoying sounds known to man. Some are included just for fun, while others are annoying.
