Love Letter: Single

Based on the popular card game "Love Letter" designed by Seiji Kanai. Plus some twist/additional cards for large groups (max 8) Offline game Single device Multiplayer ~~~ NOTE: The makers of this game are not in any way related to the creators and owners of the original card game. This is just a fan made single device version. ~~~ Play with your family during this community quarantine. If you don't know how to play the actual card game, it's best to first search for videos first of "how to play love letter cards" to get a background on how to play it. Characters: guard - name a non-guard card and choose a player. if that player has that card, he's out spy - look at another player's hand baron - you and another player secretly compare hands. the player w/ lower level is out handmaid - until your next turn, ignore all effects from other player's cards prince - choose any player (including yourself) to discard his card and draw a new one king - trade hands w/ another player countess - if you have this card and the king/prince in your hand, you must discard this card princess - if you discard this, you're out of the round --- Win the round 2 ways: 1. eliminate all other players 2. if all draw deck is empty and still more than 1 player active, the player with the card with highest level wins. 2.2. if it's a tie, add up levels of all cards (played & discarded), highest sum wins --- Win the game by collecting enough amount of love tokens (manual count for now): 2 player = 7 tokens 3 player = 5 tokens 4 player = 4 tokens --- Official Definition of the Card Game: All of the eligible young men (and many of the not-so-young) seek to woo the princess of Tempest. Unfortunately, she has locked herself in the palace, and you must rely on others to take your romantic letters to her. Will yours reach her first? Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with 16 cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire!
