WhatWhat

We have created a new fun game, which should make people laugh at parties. The game is a “board game” in your pockets. Unlike typical board games it has a lot more options. It allows up to four teams of players on one device (min. 4 players = 2 teams). In the game one member of the team always performs a word (by pantomime, singing, drawing or description) and his/her playmate(s) tries to guess it. Thanks to various settings and packs of words you can play the game exactly according to your wishes. For example you can choose you want to play only with music word pack and perform only by singing and whole game gets to a completely new level. Or you can choose only movie pack and perform only some famous movie scenes by pantomime. The game can also be a perfect practical and useful teacher of foreign languages. Players can choose different language for menu and for words in the game. We already have the game in English, French, German and Czech, word packs are even in Russian, Spanish, Polish and Slovak and hopefully there will be more languages in the future. It’s also great for children with word packs aimed at them. Main advantages: -Many words, it’ll take a long time to go through them all -Many different options for every single game -You can play with two, three or four teams (unlimited number of team members) -Pantomime, drawing, singing and description of various words -Intuitive and simple to use -Can be used as a practical tool to improve foreign language -Many languages (EN, DE, FR, RU, ES, PL, CZ, SK) Rules: The game is for 2, 3 or 4 teams (min. 2 players for a team). The number of players in one team isn’t limited, but two players are recommended. Game fields have 4 colors which determine the way in which the word must be “performed” (= type of game). Red fields mean pantomime, blue ones description by giving a definition of the word, green ones drawing and yellow ones singing. If you need any help during the game, use the help button, we hope you will find your answer. There could be more hands on one device which could cause incorrect/accidental touches, if this should happen you can use the back button in the top left corner. Before every game you can choose the number of teams and their colors, the time limit for guessing the right word, and the number of game fields. In the next two steps you can also choose which packs of words you want to activate and what types of game you want to play. At the beginning of every game all teams are on the start fields. First team presses the “play“ button and chooses one of the words from the list. Every word has a different number which tells you how many fields you will move forward if you get it right. After pressing the word you have chosen, you have 5 seconds supported by the sound alert to get ready for your play. If you need to check the word, you can use the slider. On the playing surface there are also two buttons, a red one, which you press when you fail or break any rules, and a green one for being successful. Both being successful or unsuccessful means it’s the other team’s turn and everything repeats. After each round players in one team switch (the one who was guessing in the last round, will perform in the next round etc.). This continues until the first team gets to the end. Then you can choose whether you want to let other teams finish the game, repeat the same game again or exit to the menu. (Word) description means that you can talk during the time limit, give definitions of the word and try to guide your playmate(s) to guess the right word. You can’t use the root of the given word. Singing doesn’t necessarily mean you have to sing or hum a real song or a melody; you simply have to try to sing the definition of the word you would use in an ordinary description. Pantomime is about using your own body in an attempt to help your playmate guess the word. For drawing you must have a paper and a pencil. It’s not allowed to write any letters, you can only draw.
