Solar Harvest

It is the year 2338. The world has gone through a period of extended war and resources have become scarce. Human society was on the brink of total collapse when they finally called a cease fire. Energy sources were dwindling to nothing, and we had done such damage to the planet and the atmosphere that harvesting solar power has become intractable. There was a great summit where Earth’s greatest minds came together and decided that the only path left was to harvest energy from other planets. We had enough fuel left to launch ten small crafts, so an elite team of pilots was formed to go out and collect energy with the hopes of saving our society.
