Ninja Cyra

Cyra was only 5 years old when she was sent to live with her grandparents in a little village on the outskirts of Cambridge. One day she was playing in the garden when she happened to watch her grandfather practice Ninjatsu with a bokken, a wooden sword. She watched in amusement at how the sword danced in his hands as he practiced. Before he could place the bokken back into its holster on his waist, she grabbed it and made swooshing sounds like most 5 year old would. Her grandfather laughed but also observed how her eyes lit up and proceeded to train her as his last student. Under his training she learnt many Ninjatsu secrets and weapons, but still loved the sword. Every birthday her grandfather would gift her a turquoise coin, which he would engrave by hand. The coins had Japanese inscriptions on both faces and she was told to keep them safe. Cyra guessed it had to do with some Ninjatsu secrets but did not think much of them at the time as she was still in school and she did not understand Japanese. A few trips to the school library before her 18th birthday meant she picked up some Japanese. When her grandfather gifted her another turquoise coin, she was excited and attempted to translate it. The front of the coin said, The Jade Bumble Bee holds the secret to the Jade Sword. The back of the coin said, Last seen by the Sea of Trees by the Holy Mountain.
