Shooting Star

Shooting Star is an addictive and fun yet challenging game that puts the player in charge of their own shooting star as they traverse through the depths of space. The game itself comes loaded with 3 different modes of play: Shooting Star, Star Field, and Laser Gates. Shooting Star: The original that the game gets it's namesake from. You begin as a star flying through space with three lives. You must collect points and try to survive the perilous journey as long as possible. Be mindful of asteroids as they come towards you, they vary in size and speed. Don't forget to catch the power-ups as they fall as well. Though rare, they can really change the outcome of the game and be a real life saver. Oh yea, watch out for lasers. One hit and you're done, no matter how many lives you have. Star Field: Much like the original Shooting Star game with a twist. You fly your star through a star field, with points becoming much more abundant. However, for increased reward, there is also increased risk, as asteroids and lasers become more numerous as well. Laser Gates: Control your shooting star as it travels through falling laser gates. In this game, you are only given one life, and the moment you touch one of the lasers, you're done. No extra points, no asteroids, no power-ups. You're only enemy here is the laser gates themselves. Earn your score by surviving in this falling maze of lasers for as long as possible. Shooting Star has been recently optimized so newer devices can now play the game.
