UNRULY BASTARDS: SEASON 1

You are about to embark upon an epic battle of imagination, creativity, and improvisation. Welcome to Unruly Bastards – Season 1 – the next iteration in party card games! Every card in this game has been individually and skillfully crafted to create a situational environment for you and your friends to compete using nothing more than your sense of humor and terrible judgment. A brief word of warning: this is a party game where horrible thoughts are oftentimes rewarded. In fact, the more you embrace your inner bastard, the more likely you are to be crowned CHAMPION. Nevertheless, you can play this game as clean or as dirty as you choose. In either case, we always recommend that you stop just shy of your friends and family permanently disowning you. The game play is simple… each round begins with a JUDGE (the winner of the previous round) drawing a card from each of the two decks and reading them aloud to the other players. THEME cards –- the black deck - posit an outlandish scenario or situation; MODIFIER cards –– the yellow deck - as the name implies, modify a THEME card by adding a twist, usually a character or character trait. Given those two pieces of information each player formulates and delivers their response – one at a time – in an order decided by the judge. The all-powerful judge – using criteria like humor, theme and modifier accuracy, level of commitment, and general unruliness – chooses the player response he or she likes best as the winner of that round. That winner then becomes the judge for the next round. Repeat. The first player to win 3 rounds wins the game and is crowned the CHAMPION. And that is basically it. Oh, some cards are marked with an icon along the bottom. These are challenge cards, and they add yet another element of gameplay that players must incorporate into their responses. Good luck!
