STEAM Decks ofrece una plataforma online de acceso gratuito donde los estudiantes de primaria y secundaria pueden desarrollar conocimiento declarativo de manera contextualizada y significativa a través de un juego de cartas online y multijugador. La plataforma proporciona varios mazos de cartas que cubren una amplia variedad de temas (biología, química, astronomía, artes, etc.). La dinámica del juego es fácil de seguir por los estudiantes de primaria y secundaria: cada carta de esos mazos contiene información sobre un caso del tema cubierto (por ejemplo, en el mazo "Animales del mar", cada animal tiene su propia tarjeta) y un lista de características fácilmente comparables (p. ej., peso, velocidad de nado, longevidad, etc.). Al comienzo de cada partida, se baraja el mazo de cartas y cada jugador obtiene la mitad del mazo. En el primer turno del juego, uno de los jugadores saca la primera carta de su mazo y selecciona qué característica se comparará y cómo (es decir, cuanto más, mejor o menos, mejor). El otro jugador saca la primera carta de su mazo y la compara usando el criterio acordado previamente. Si la primera carta de jugador gana la comparación, este jugador gana un punto. Si la carta del otro jugador es mejor, es el otro quien gana un punto. Si hay empate, es el jugador que elige quien pierde. El juego termina cuando se han comparado todas las cartas del mazo. The platform provides several decks of cards covering a wide variety of subjects (biology, chemistry, astronomy, arts, etc.). The dynamics of the game is easy to follow by students of primary and secondary: each letter of those mallets contains information about a case covered topic (eg deck "Sea Animals", each animal has its own card) and one list easily comparable characteristics (p. g., weight, swimming speed, longevity, etc.). At the beginning of each game, the deck is shuffled and each player gets half the deck. In the first turn of the game, one player draws the top card of his deck and choose what feature will be compared and how (ie, the more the better or less better). The other player draws the top card from his deck and compared using the criteria previously agreed. If the first player card wins the comparison, this player wins a point. If the card the other player is better, it is the one who wins a point. If there is a tie, it is the player who chooses who loses. The game ends when all the cards have compared the deck.
