Meteoric Math

Welcome! Meteoric Math is a 2D space shooter, which combines math for an unique gaming experience. It's designed for everyone and is a great way to practice mental math skills while having lots of fun. It's especially great for younger kids! What's it all about? You are a space traveller who is flying accross the infinite cosmos, but there's meteors everywhere approaching towards you and trying to destroy you! Luckily enough, your spaceship can shoot laser beams and defend itself. There are, however, two types of meteors: rock and iron. Iron meteors take two shots to destroy and rock meteors only require one shot. Iron meteors won't harm your spaceship, but rock meteors will damage your spaceship. You can survive two collisions with a rock meteor, so be careful! Iron meteors also reflect your laser beams. Use this feature to make some crazy trick shots! Each laser beams costs you 1 ammo, and you are granted 30 at the start of the game. However, you'll find yourself running out of it rather quickly, and this is where the math part comes in. Every random moment a math equation will appear on your screen. It can be subtraction, multiplication or addition. Everything around you will slow down to let you think for a moment. Use the presented keypad to enter your answer. A correct answer will grant you bonus ammo, allowing you to shoot even more meteors. However, think fast, because you are only given a few seconds to answer the equation! Controls Tap on the left side of your screen to fly your spaceship. Tap many times to fly really high, once you'll reach the very top of your screen, the spaceship will wrap around. Tap on the right side of the screen to shoot a laser beam. Don't forget - 1 shot is needed to destroy a rock ( brown ) meteor, and two to destroy an iron ( grey ) meteor. You can tap both sides at the same time to both fly and shoot! Features Intuitive and simple design makes this game appealing to any age group. Especially kids, it's a super great way to learn math, as it forces them to quickly think, if they want to shoot meteors ( I'm sure they do! ). Even if you're one of the older folks, it's a great way to train your brain and spend some free time. Meteoric Math is always improving.
