SimpliSafe Home Security App

Easy to install, versatile, and cost-effective security system. And customer support is excellent!

Not at all happy with it so far. I had to suspend installation because my city requires a permit and the application has to be mailed away and will take a week or do to go back and forth. When I tried to get my 3 day trial period extended by SimpliSafe the person in customer services I called told me to call back when I got the permit and they'd "consider" my request. I am about to pack everything up and send it back and go with Xfinity instead.

The app is user friendly. We use the app to arm/disarm the system more than we use the keypad. I work in the security field and recomend SimpliSafe to my clients for home security continuously. The tech support is always friendly and very helpful. When my system arrived the keypad malfunctioned (I'm sure this was a rare fluke occurance) and I had another keypad within serveral days. Everything works perfectly. I highly recomend SimpliSafe for basic home protection.

Works well. I have to zonk it one star though because only one user and password is available for multiple users. It needs to be able to add additional users.

Only suggestion i have is it would be nice to be able to dim the light on the base station. I know you can turn it off but i like to see visually that its on. Hopefully someone from Simplisafe will tell someone about my suggestion. Maybe an update for the base station is possible.

The app wont let you delete your own camera recordings ! What if i bring my side chick over and smash on the couch ? My main chick will then be able to review all pounding activities for the last 30 days !!! This is absolutly unexceptable ! Control over what data is stored is crucial for a functional household !! Please make an update asap adding user control over all alerts and timeline history. Big Biscuits signing off !
