Top Race

TOP RACE was born in 1997 as a new alternative in the national motorsports. With many big names, on February 23 of that year, in Pinamar, the first race was run, with two runs. The winners were Juan María Traverso, Mercedes Benz with 280, and Ernesto Bessone, a Nissan 300. In 2005, the category decided to completely renew its fleet, equipping cars with modern V6 engines. Based on technical regulations designed to prioritize the conductive qualities of pilots and work in track teams, the TOP RACE built a series of high-end vehicles, simile Mondeo, Laguna, Vectra, 406, Passat, 156, BMW Mercedes and C5. It became, then, the only category of cars with roof built especially for competition. The new TOP RACE initiative was welcomed by the "nut" environment, but also for the football, as several institutions involved in this field decided to have their own teams. Thus, the TOP RACE joined the two main passions of Argentina: football and auto racing. TOP RACE has a team that constantly works in generating ideas on which the approach to the public is the main goal, both those who follow television category as attending road courses. Teams and drivers collaborate in actions and each date of the category is usually a box of surprises for spectators.
