Gordang Sambilan Batak

Gordang Part is one of the traditional arts Mandailings tribe. Gordang means drum or drum while moonlighting means nine. Part Gordang consists of nine drum or drum which has a different length and diameter so as to produce different tones. Part Gordang usually played by six people with the smallest drum tone 1.2 as taba-taba, drum 3 Tepe-Tepe, 4 kudong-kudong drum, drum-kudong kudong nabalik 5, 6 pasilion drum, drum 7,8,9 as hides. Formerly Gordang sideline just played on sacred occasions, along with the social culture berkembangya Gordang sideline society today has often played well in the wedding, welcoming guests, a great day. As one of Indonesia's cultural heritage Gordang sideline've ever played at the presidential palace.
