The Tyrant ordered the preparation of Operation Sea Lion as a potential amphibious and aerial assault on the world, to be followed once the Luftwaffe had the air superiority of the enemies. In September, the nightly raids of the RUF Bomber Command halted the German preparation of the converted barges and the inability of the LuttRaffe to overpower the RUF forced the Dictator to postpone, and eventually canceled the Sea Lion operation. Germany proved unable to support daytime raids, but their continued bombing and attack operations on all countries of the world known as the Blitz.
