The augmented reality application allows real time visualization and orientation of deep anatomical structures using your smartphone or tablet within Simulare’s cleft lip and palate simulators. Merging a virtual environment with a physical model provides an unprecedented training experience. The augmented reality application has the following features: • Dynamically view internal anatomy of simulators using a smart phone or tablet camera with an intuitive augmented reality app on either Android or IOS devices. • Complete internal anatomy for cleft lip and cleft palate. • Learn anatomy using on screen labels including information on function, muscle origin, and muscle insertion. • Based on models developed for our surgical simulators for accurate overlay. • Switch between any of our simulators at the press of a button.
