The game is a repeat slightly modified the duo games Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue and came out on the portable console Game Boy in 1998 in Japan, in 1999 in North America and Australia, and in 2000 in Europe. The player controls the main character via an aerial view and directs throughout the fictional Kanto region. His goal is to capture, train and to fight fictional creatures called "Pokémon" to obtain the title of "Pokémon Master." The ultimate goal is to complete the Pokédex by obtaining the 151 available Pokémon. Almost identical to Pokémon Red and Blue, yellow release is based on the animated series Pokémon, the player gets Pikachu as "starting Pokémon." Even if the game is a repeat of a game sold over thirty million copies of Pokémon Yellow was extremely popular and has sold over 14 million copies worldwide. It is the precursor of the "third version" Pokemon, the complementary version of the first two.
